GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION – IIRSI 2025

IIRSI - 2025 welcomes abstract for Free Paper, e-Poster & Video Case presentations.

Abstracts are invited from Post Graduate trainees as well as consultants, in clinical and research areas pertaining to Ophthalmic specialities

Authors will have the option of choosing to submit their abstract in 8 different themes as mentioned below. Submission in different themes by the same author are also allowed. Submission can be done for Free Paper/e-Poster/Video Case or for all.

Instructions for Abstract Submission:
  • Last Date of Abstract submission is 31-August 2025, while acceptance of submissions will be notified within 30 days after closure of submission.
  • To be written in English, Microsoft Word Document (.docx), Arial font.
  • Use a word count of 250 words or less (excluding title, key words and references)
  • Title of the paper should be 12 words maximum.
  • The abstract should be structured as follows: Aim & Objectives, Material & Method, Results & Conclusion.
  • In case of video case presentation, the maximum length of video will be 5-8 minutes.
  • Videos may be formatted in MPEG, AVI, WMV, or QuickTime (MOV) with a maximum resolution of 1280x720. MPEG-4 is the preferred format.
  • Videos will be evaluated based on their scientific merits, educational values, originality, quality, conciseness, audio-visual effects, editing skills, etc.
  • Free paper/e-poster/video case: Any accepted authors will need to present a talk of 5 - 8 minutes at the IIRSI Delhi Conference.
  • Preferably the first author/submitting should be the presenting author. The presenting author is obliged to ascertain that all authors are aware of the content and should be original work. The authors should ascertain that there is no plagiarism in cluding self-plagiarism.
  • Please provide an accurate email address for the first author. Abstract submission results and abstract-related correspondence will be sent by email to the first author and a maximum of FIVE co-authors are allowed for each abstract
  • Submissions will be reviewed by an expert committee. After the acceptance of the abstract, authors of accepted submissions will be required to submit final presentable paper/poster/video case in prescribed guidelines by 15-October 2025 to be reviewed and presented at the conference.

General Instructions:
  • All abstracts must be the original, unpublished work of the authors, with all listed authors having significant contribution to the completion of the work.
  • The paper should not have been presented in any conference earlier.
  • Submission of an abstract constitutes the author & commitment to present the abstract if accepted and, in the session, assigned by the Scientific committee. All presenters must register for the conference.
  • All expenses associated with the preparation and presentation of the abstracts is the responsibility of the author/presenter.
