Abstract Submission

Event Information

The Scientific Committee of the World Neurosciences Summit – V invites the submission of scientific abstracts for Platform (Oral) Presentations and Poster Presentations. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts based on original research, clinical studies, or relevant case series.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Abstracts must be submitted only through the online abstract submission portal.
  • A maximum of three (3) abstracts per user may be submitted.
  • Authors must select one primary category: (i) Neurology or (ii) Neurosurgery
  • Each abstract must be submitted under one appropriate sub-category as listed below.

  • If multiple abstracts submitted by the same author are accepted, only one abstract will be selected for Platform (Oral) Presentation. All other accepted abstracts will be assigned to Poster Presentation.
  • Authors must indicate their preferred mode of presentation (Platform/Poster) at the time of submission.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English only.
  • Residents/Fellows submitting abstracts are eligible to apply for bursary support.
  • D.M./DNB Neurology residents who have appeared for their final examinations before October 2025 will not eligible for Bursaries.

AUTHOR INFORMATION

  • The first/submitting author must be the presenting author.
  • The presenting author is responsible for ensuring that:
    • All co-authors have approved the abstract content
    • The work is original and free from plagiarism
  • The presenting author must provide:
    • Full Name
    • Affiliations
    • Highest academic degree

ABSTRACT FORMAT

  • The abstract title should be concise & reflective of the content and must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • The abstract should be under 250 words.
  • Abstracts must be structured under the following headings:
    • Aim/Background
    • Materials and Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion/Conclusion
